For one, we're not the most romantic guys on earth so we won't be doing much. However, I have the firm intention of dragging him to the restaurant (probably an Asian one, since we're both Asian cooking maniacs), I'm kidnapping him if I have to... and it's probably going to finish in the bedroom

. He doesn't like chocolate and he's not the kind of man that wants flowers (and neither am I - but I wouldn't spit on chocolates

). Most of the cash will be spent on our wedding day anyways, which is in 17 days

So yeah, that's about it

Rectification: staying home =_______=.... snowstorm outside, we're not taking risks to go to university, and we're just gonna spend a normal night here.

We have reservations at a fancy Cajun restaurant, and they have a special couples menu already prepared for tomorrow evening.

I just don't like the idea of doing idiotic things for a loved one on 1 very 'special' day in an entire year.
It's all commercialized poo, so I prefer to do nothing involving the horrible 14th of february.

...Yes, I'm single.

PS: Why must it be on one day, I prefer doing fun stuff with a friend on any day of the year, preferably multiple days.

Well I'm having to have gifts shipped to Belize,orchids, chocolates and one of those talking tigers from Hallmark. My girl is doing fieldwork for her doctorate in archaeology, specifically relating to the Mayans. Let me tell you though FTD makes you pay through the nose for international deliveries. I thought about shipping myself down there for a few days but unfortunately I can't afford the plane tickets. I forget how much it costs to travel civilian. The Marines spoil you like that. You find a transport going your way and hitch a ride.

Other than that we have decided to celebrate Valentines day a month late when she gets home. I miss my honey.
